On Tuesday, Mr. Damaro donated a water-pump machine and provided full scholarships to three young individuals engaged in the car wash venture.
During the presentation, Damaro praised the youths for their industrious spirit, expressing impression about their commitment to earning an honest living while pursuing their education.
“I am supporting your efforts to earn money for yourselves, and I encourage you to get involved in small ‘susu’ savings to advance from this level,” he said.
Damaro emphasized the importance of financial prudence and savings among the youth, urging them to adopt the traditional ‘susu’ savings method. This method involves pooling money with others to save and invest collectively, which can help them transition to more significant business opportunities.
Moreover, Damaro pledged his continued support to the youths, promising to assist them in achieving their full potential.
“Your dedication is commendable, and I am here to help you reach your goals,” he added.
The youths, in a jubilant mood, expressed profound gratitude for the donations. They described the water-pump machine and scholarships as a timely and significant boost to their efforts.
“We are extremely grateful to Mr. Damaro for his generosity. This support is a welcome gesture that will help us immensely,” one of the beneficiaries remarked.
The youth said the donation is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of their car wash center and could enable them (youths)to serve more customers and increase their income.
The scholarships, they added, will provide much-needed financial relief, allowing them to focus more on their studies without the burden of tuition fees.
