MONROVIA — The family of the late Cletus Noah has informed the Liberia National Police (LNP) of their decision to proceed with burial arrangements without conducting an autopsy.

In a letter addressed to Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Crime Services Division, Mr. Simeon Frank, the family explained that after thorough consultations, they have chosen not to pursue further investigations.
They cited the absence of any substantial evidence suggesting foul play as the basis for their decision.
The family also expressed confidence in the medical findings previously provided by the hospital and stated that they see no justification for additional inquiries into the circumstances surrounding Noah’s death.
The letter, dated May 20, 2025, was signed by Noah’s widow, Mrs. Linda K. Sumo-Noah; his sister, Mrs. Mary N. Weah; and his cousin, Mr. Augustine K. Maimie. It was acknowledged by Chief Superintendent of Police Samuel G. Zeo
