Bong County District #6 Representative Aspirant, William Telebo Thompson has swore he won’t disappoint the District for the confidence reposed in him by the people of Salala District.

Mr. Thompson assured citizens that he has heard their cries and eagerness for a change in leadership, stating that he too is in empathy with his people.
The Salala District Representative Aspirant expressed his preparedness in working with every sector of the district in order to effectuate the change citizens have long yerned for.
Mr. Thompson made the commitment in an appreciation message to citizens for the warm welcome he received recently following his return from the USA.
The Assistant minister for Energy at the ministry of Mines and Energy took to his Facebook page to express his profound gratitude to citizens for assembling at several different locations to welcome him back home.
Mr. Thompson described the assembly as a demonstration of citizens’ dissatisfaction of how nepotism, unaccountability, hatred, divisiveness and greed have dampened the image of the District over the last 5years.
Mr. Thompson said: “I keenly listened to your cry and I am in total agreement with you. I will not let you down. We will work assiduously and collaboratively to restore the lost values and dignity to our beloved homeland, Salala District. “
“As I take your voices for change very seriously, I remain humbled and forever grateful, ” he added.
He used the medium to call on citizens to unite and work in one accord for the growth and development of Salala District.
Min. Thompson is one of few names battling incumbent Representative, Moima Briggs Mensah for the representative seat of Salala District.
During the well attended separate welcome back ceremonies in Salala, Totota, Kolila and Zeansue, citizens reposed their trust and confidence in the Min. Thompson to become the next Lawmaker of the District.
Donations of medical supplies and stationery were made at the Salala Clinic and the Totota Police station as a means of making their work earlier.
In separate emphatic comments, the District #6 citizens showered praise on the youthful aspirant for his many undertakings across the District.
They particularly named the Thompson Development Alliance (TDA), an initiative of the aspirant, one of his many contributions to the development of Salala District.
The Thompson Development Alliance is mainly in the business of exploring educational and empowerment opportunities for young people of the District and has been up and running for over 11 years.
Mr. Thompson was also lauded for partnering with friends in ensuring that Totota is electrified.
The Salala District citizens promised to stand up and champion a resounding yes to the representative bid of Mr. Thompson in order to move the District forward.
