MONROVIA- Rep. Marvin Cole is calling on President Joseph Boakai to immediately dismiss the Director General of Civil Service Agency Josiah Joekai for “lack of coordination and gross disrespect to the House of Representatives’ Committee on Rules Order and Administration.”

The Bong County District Three lawmaker, who is the chairman of Rules Order and Administration of the 55th Legislature, appearing on a local show on Wednesday, said the CSA boss has shown a lack of coordination with his committee resulting in misinformation and misrepresentation.
According to Rep. Cole, the CSA boss is on record of keeping names people who are double-dipping, and people who have died on the payroll, adding that the committee on Rules Order and Administration has presented the two different payrolls to the president; clarifying the factual payroll and the fake payroll, which shows inconsistency in the payroll.
“I have a lot of respect for the President and we have evidence to prove for the President to act on the dismissal of Joekai due to his inconsistency, lack of cooperation, and disrespect to the committee.
“We have already presented the two different payrolls to the president clarifying the factual payroll and the fake payroll, adding that all those who have been on payroll for double-dipping will be forced to remit all money received illegally from government coffers,” he said.
However, the lawmaker has been accused of paddling the payroll of the House of Representatives, particularly with his supporters from Bong County. Recently, it was reported that Rep. Cole had fallen out of favor with Speaker Fonati Koffa, which reportedly prompted the Speaker to appoint Rep. Cole’s deputy, Rep. Abu Kamara of Montserrado County to handle disparity regarding the payroll structure of the House of Representatives.
