Gbarnga Bong County – Cuttington University Alumni Association in the Americas has embarked on several projects on the main campus of the University in Suakoko District, Bong County.

The projects, according to the President of the Alumni Association in the Americas, Miss Massa Morgan, are part of efforts by the Association to give back to their alma mater.
Currently, rehabilitation work is ongoing between the entrance to the main campus road corridor of the University, while the Agape clinic, responsible for providing first aid treatment for students on main campus, is at the verge of undergoing major reconditioning, coupled with the launch of a Wifi and Nursing Book projects among other initiatives sponsored by the Cuttington University Alumni Association in the Americas.
According to Miss Morgan, those initiatives are part of efforts to identify with the institution that helped to impact their lives.
She emphasized that the completion of those projects will help alleviate some of the long standing challenges students of the university are facing. She called for collaboration amongst members of the Alumni Association, both home and abroad, for the improvement of the organization.
Asked about the source of support to major ongoing projects on the Campus of the University, Morgan noted that funds are being galvanized through dues payment and other contributions from members of the Association in the Americas.
She believes the only way Cuttington can continue to experience speedy growth and Development is when graduates of the institution begin to give back through the diaspora Alumni Association.
Miss Morgan is encouraging her colleagues to remain steadfast as they continue to effectuate developmental growth and transformation on the Campuses of Cuttington University.
The Cuttington University Alumni Association president in the Americas is at the same time cautioning young graduates of the University to take advantage of the Alumni Association if they must give back to the University.
She placed the cost of the 340-meter road project between the entrance of the University to the main campus at USD$90,000.
“We have decided to give back to Cuttington as Alumni Association, we’re currently doing the road from the entrance up to the administrative building which cost US$90,000, and we also have a plan to reconstruct the Agape Clinic for the betterment of students who are attending the institution
