Monrovia – Twenty-five Liberian Christians from various churches in Liberia are to join 150 other country nationals from around the world to attend this year’s Feast of Tabernacles in Israel.
The Liberian delegation is attending the Feast of Tabernacles under a Christian world body known as the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).
This will be the first attendances of Liberian Christian delegation to the historic Christians’ event, the Feast of Tabernacles which usually is held in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel since 1980.
The Feast of Tabernacles will take place in Jerusalem, the current capital of Israel.
The event is hosted by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).
In January this year a delegation of Liberian Christians traveled to Israel and attended the “Envision Pastors and Leaders”.
According to ICEJ – Liberia National Director, Apostle J. Aaron Wright, Sr. the Feast of Tabernacles will last for ten days.
Apostle Wright said the event will be characterized with teaching sessions that will be conducted by several Great Christian Leaders from around the world including the Continent of Africa, Jerusalem March which will be done in the principle streets of Jerusalem.
He disclosed that at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles, a communion service will be held at the Garden Tomb where Christ Jesus was buried and resurrected.
Apostle Wright narrated: “That from Jerusalem the 150 delegation will travel to Galilee where the tour almost all of the Biblical Sites including a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee as well as to view the Jordan River”.
He said besides these activities, the Liberian Christian delegation will have the opportunity to visit the Knesett to meet with members of the Israeli Parliament.
The ICEJ – Liberia National Director said the platform will be create for the delegation to share with members of the Israeli Parliament about how Liberians intend to move their country forward with the help of Israel in the area of agriculture, education, health and youth empowerment.
He said as head of the Liberian delegation he will also be meeting with the Chief Rabbi of Israel.
Apostle Wright said the 25 – member delegation trip to the Feast of Tabernacles to Israel was self – sponsored and other well-meaning people assisted in the process.
“Upon the Liberian Christian delegation returned from Israel from the Feast of Tabernacles, there will be a Spiritual Reawakened on the land of Liberia because Zachariah 14:16 it says, All those that have gone against Jerusalem or Israel this time they must take upon themselves, members of all families of the earth to go to Jerusalem and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacle to serve the King and that is what this delegation will be doing for Liberia”, he pointed out.
Apostle Wright said for Liberia as a nation and its people to be blessed the church must continue to pray for the government for God’s direction, in that there will be improvement it the health, education, infrastructure and other sectors of the country.
He recounted that those who travelled to Israel in January this year, there are great things they are experiencing from their individual lives, their families, their churches and other things they are venturing in.
“It is International Christian Embassy Jerusalem – Liberia (ICEJ – Liberia) hope that in the coming years many Liberian Christians will the trip to Israel to attend the Feast of Tabernacles which is slated for September every year”, Apostle Wright declared.
On Tuesday, September 18, a prayer service was held at the Army of the Living Church on the Old Road, Sinkor for the Liberian Christian delegation to Israel putting their travel and all activities in the in mighty hands of God.
