Monrovia – Police in Monrovia have arrested and are investigating two alleged notorious armed robbers in connection to a recent armed robbery incident in the city of Brewerville, in which huge amount of Liberian Dollars were stolen.
Otis Richard ( CKA Nut Shaking) and Koko Borbor ( Night Bird) allegedly armed robbed a resident of Brewerville making away with Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Liberian Dollars ( 350,000) and an unspecified amount of United States Dollars and other valuables by putting their victims at gun point.
Koko Borbor (the brother of detained armed robber Kollie Borbor) and Otis Richard have long been on Police wanted list in connection to series of armed robberies in Monrovia and its environs.
According to a LNP Statement, both men were involved in the October 24, 2015 armed robbing of a resident of Peace Island, madam Massa Kamara. The men on November 11, 2015 also armed robbed Pastor John Sabah, inflecting wounds on his son and made away with huge sum of money and valuables.
At the same time the Liberia National Police has declared wanted twenty one notorious armed robbers who were recently free from the Monrovia Center Prison following an intervention by the Catholic Justice and Peace Commission after not being tried for two terms of court.
The Police said some of the men are behind the wave of armed robberies across the city and its environs.
The wanted men include Pirus Konneh, Peter Toe, Archie Zondo, George Pantoe, Victor Jones, Prince Payleh, Siakah Konneh, Richard Tokpa, Joe Morris, and Jerry Kamara. Others also wanted by the Police are Joshua Ziah, Junior Joseph, Laye Kamara, Michael Harris, Otus Brown, Archie-boye Sieway, Musa Kamara, Augustine Roberts Austine Tarr, Isaac Sale, and Zacchaus Tengbeh.
In another development the Liberia National Police has charged the Pastor of the Salvation Christ Deliverance Ministries James Mulbah with murder after he allegedly killed a 23 year old man who he accused of having a love affair with his wife.
Pastor Mulbah told Police investigators that he had earlier on advice the deceased to abandon his love affairs with his wife, but to no avail, something he said prompted a fight between him and the deceased. He said doing the fight he mistakenly stabbed the victim with a scissor that resulted to his death.
The body of the 23 years old barber was discovered in front of a warehouse marked Xinyan Trading Center sixty feet away from where he and his colleagues usually do their hair barbering at the Sugar Hill Red light Community. The incident occurred on March 23, 2016.
