According to the group, one of the patients known as Ma Kolu Kamara, who was in the facility recently suffered a serious heart attack due loud musical sound systems but was quickly transferred to another health center.
“We want to emphatically call on the Ministry of Health to do due diligence to shut down this facility which is more than a death trap and failure on the part of the Ministry to intervene will lead us with no alternative but to organize a mass citizen protest at the premises of the MASCHO until the appropriate steps are taken to ensure the safety, life and health of our people remain a national concern and priority,” the group said.
It continued: “Failure on the part of the Ministry to intervene will lead us with no alternative but to organize a mass citizen protest at the premise of the MASCHO until the appropriate steps are taken to ensure the safety, life and health of our people remain a national concern and priority,” he said.
Management’s Response
Meanwhile, Mr. Sheriff has denied the allegations and said it is the work of his political enemies.
“This is far from the truth. And I know who all are behind it. This is the work of my political enemies. We are scoring bigly against them. And they are afraid and trying to get back at me,” he said.
