Monrovia, April 29, 2025 – As part of ongoing efforts to empower women in business and leadership across Liberia, Ms. Cassandra Hampton, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Touch Corporation, on April 4, engaged with women traders at the 12th Street and Nancy Doe Markets through the company’s HerRise Initiative.
The engagement, described as a powerful moment of listening, learning, and connection, focused on information sharing and providing insights into the goals and opportunities of the HerRise Initiative. The program aims to promote women’s empowerment by offering mentorship, skills training, and trade opportunities.
“We’re excited about the journey ahead as we work to support and elevate women in business and leadership across Liberia. The rise is here—and it’s hers,” said Ms. Hampton in a statement released by the company.
Prior to the April 4 event, the HerRise Initiative also held a successful engagement with women at Rally Town Market. According to Ms. Hampton, the strength, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by the women were truly inspiring and reaffirmed the need for continued support.
Golden Touch Corporation, through the HerRise Initiative, has committed to expanding its outreach to markets and communities across the country, with a focus on fostering economic independence among Liberian women.
“As we move forward, HerRise Initiative will continue to provide mentorship, training, and trade opportunities to help women elevate their businesses and financial independence,” Hampton added.
The company is encouraging the public to stay connected for future updates and opportunities to be part of what it describes as a “transformative journey” for women in Liberia.
