Ganta,Nimba County – A man claiming to be a senior officer of the then Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization [BIN] now the Liberia immigration Services [LIS] has been arrested and detained by state securities in Nimba County.

Foday L.Kamara, who was allegedly impersonating as a Captain of LIS, was arrested on Thursday December 19, 2018 following a complaint by the business community in the commercial city of Ganta.
The business community accused Kamara of carrying out fake inspection, harassing marketeers and collecting huge money from them.
It is not yet clear which type of inspection Kamara was involved with in the city of Ganta when he was arrested by some of the same LIS agents.
The Fake captain Kamara was arrested with his a fake identification card bearing number BIN-J 599072.
When contacted, the commander of the Liberia Immigration and naturalization at the Liberia-Guinea border Col. Louise Dennis told our Nimba County correspondent that she is not allow to speak to the press and we should contact her boss at her office.
Our Nimba County correspondent said Kamara was booked impersonating at a business centers with only a letter of assignment in the city of Ganta including his impersonating ID card.
When contacted the human resource officer for the Liberia Immigration and Naturalization for the county Oscar Dolo told our correspondent that he has no officer identified as Foday L. Kamar assigned in the County but the LIS has one Foday Follubah assigned in the county.
Meanwhile, Kamara is in police detention; he will be investigated and send to court for prosecution, an LIS source said.
