MONROVIA – Liberia has recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 just a day after six new cases were discovered, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 48.
According to the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) Liberia now has 40 active cases, three recoveries and five deaths.
The country began a lockdown on Friday in an effort to the curb the transmission of the virus.
