Rising Liberian Author Sets to Launch ‘Every Student’s Compass Book’ Soon

Monrovia – A young Liberian writer, Anthony Ntem, is expected to launch a book that highlights how students deal with low self-esteem, set academic goals, choose the right career path and make a difference in society.
The book entitled, “Every Student’s Compass Book”, was published in 2021 and is expected to be launched on March 24, 2022 at Stella Maris Polytechnic University in Monrovia.
The book “Every Student’s Compass” on March 23, 2021 was officially approved by the Ministry of Education through its Center of Excellence for Curriculum Development and textbooks research; thereby certifying the book to be taught in secondary Schools across the Country.
The Center reviewed that the book revealed a tremendous thought of excellence providing light intended to build confidence and a career development plan for every youth desirous of a better future.
The Book Consists Of Seven Chapters:
Chapter-1: Self Esteem – shares his experience as a victim of low self-esteem, the ways to build self-esteem and an interesting fable for readers.
Chapter-2: Self-Confidence – shares the story of a Student with self-confidence, a story of a student who lacked self-confidence, and shows readers how to develop self-confidence.
Chapter-3: “Goal setting” – teaches students how to set goals using the COMPASS Technique, and reasons why students don’t achieve their goals.
Chapter-4: “Career Decision Making” – teaches Students how to choose the right career using the T. I. P. S. Keys. (Talents, Personalities, Interests, and Standards).
Chapter-5: “Be a Light”- teaches Students how to make an Impact in Society.
Chapter-6: “Math Is Fun”- explains that any Student can learn mathematics, why many students don’t believe so and mathematics tricks.
Chapter-7 “Educative Website”- enlists important sites for Students to get free books, do research and apply for global opportunities.
The author, Anthony Ntem, is the founder of Great Minds-Africa, an online platform that provides a stage for students and young people in Africa to develop their skills and talents for global relevance in society.
Anthony Ntem has spent the past three years helping students and young people overcome low self-esteem, set goals using the C.O.M.P.A.S.S. goal setting technique, choose the right career path and make a difference in society.
