Liberia: AMEZU and International Professional Security and Bodyguard Training Institute Signs MOU to Begin State-of-the-Art Security Training Programs

MONROVIA- The African Methodist Episcopal Zion University (AMEZU) and the International Professional Security and Bodyguard Training Institute (IPSBGTI), have signed a memorandum of understanding to create safer environments and empower individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to address complex security challenges in Liberia.
Marking the signing ceremony of both institutions on Wednesday, the Vice President of AMEZU, Professor Kofa Kloh, said the ceremony marked a significant milestone in formalizing a partnership dedicated to enhancing security through comprehensive training.
“This Partnership brings together our collective expertise and resources to develop and deliver state-of-the-art security training programs. These programs will be designed to equip participants with the latest strategies, tools, and best practices in the field of security from cyber-security to physical security,” Professor Kloh said.
According to him, the collaboration is a testament to a shared commitment to creating safer environments and empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to address the complex security challenges of our time.
“In an increasingly interconnected world, the importance of robust security measures cannot be overstated. Whether we are safeguarding our communities, protecting critical infrastructure or ensuring the integrity of our digital networks, the need for well-trained Security Professionals is paramount,” he added.
He further said: “Our comprehensive curriculum will address a wide range of threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring that our trainees are prepared to respond effectively and efficiently. Together, we will leverage our strengths to provide training that is not only rigorous and relevant but also adaptable to the evolving security landscape.
“This initiative would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of many individuals. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to making this Partnership a reality. Your efforts are laying the foundation for a safer and more secure future.

Also speaking, The Director of the International Professional Security and Bodyguard Training Institute Albert K. Chelley, said the signing ceremony signified a shared commitment to enhancing education and professional training in the vital field of security and personal protection.
“Our collaboration will not only provide high-quality training but also foster a new generation of security professionals who are equipped to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving global landscape.
