In recognition of the African Best Dressed Social Media Campaign, the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Liberia has awarded three Liberians as first, second and third winners respectively.

The Africa Best Dress Social Media Campaign was one of key activities that marked this year’s observance of Africa Day, as UBA-Liberia proudly joined the rest of the continent in the day, which symbolizes Africa’s unity, cultural richness, and progress.
Basically, the three winners of the African Best Dressed Social Media Campaign were determined from the highest shares each post received from the UBA-Liberia’s social media platform.
Speaking Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the awards ceremony, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UBA-Liberia, Mr. Ayokunle Olajubu, said the initiative is the Bank’s way of giving back to Liberians.
Mr. Olajubu pointed out the UBA-Liberia that the competition was part of UBA-Liberia’s own way of giving back to Liberians – an environment that has provided it conducive business climate.
“Here in Liberia, UBA remains the premium banking institution and we are here to show love and care to Liberians and our many customers and this is one of the way of doing just that. We want to thank our winners for their participation. Many thanks to those who participated, though not everyone would have won,” said the UBA-Liberia boss.
Speaking as he collected the first winner’s prize, Abbas Fidel Tucker, extolled the bank’s management for the competition and the offer, which according to him, are good encouragements for more people to do business with the bank.
“They are making us to know that they are part of us and so they are making us to take home something more. All I can say is that UBA is the #1 bank in Liberia,” he added amid cheers from audience in the banking hall up Broad Street.
