Monrovia – The management of Crows Group Limited, a petroleum product supplier in the Liberian market, has denied media reports alleging that the vessel EUROTRADER, which is transporting its petroleum product, has any connection to Russia.
Crows Group clarified that, contrary to media reports, their vessel was loaded in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the petroleum product on board is not being smuggled.
According to the group, the vessel has not docked at the port of Monrovia, has not been rejected, and its content is not off-spec gasoil. The company stated that it contracted the vessel to deliver (—- MT) of diesel to Monrovia this June. The petroleum quality meets the specifications as per the certificate of quality from the load port and will be tested in Liberia. The vessel, according to the company, is still at sea, awaiting to dock at the Freeport of Monrovia following all necessary arrangements.
The management claims that the media report is an attempt to besmear its character and drive away its valuable customers. In the statement, it clarified that it has no connection to any vessel carrying off-spec gasoil.
