MONROVIA – The Jallah family is appealing for help to save the life of their fourteen-year-old son, Stanley Jallah, who has been afflicted by a tumor on his right heel. Due to this condition, Stanley has become an outcast in his community, facing rejection and isolation. Mr. James Jallah, the boy’s father, shared that the problem began as a small knot on Stanley’s foot when he was just a year old, but it has progressively grown over the years.

Washington D.C. – The US Ambassador on Global Criminal Justice recently met with Adama Dempster of the CSO Platform in collaboration with Human Rights Watch and the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) in Washington DC. The meeting was attended by civil society, the human rights community, victims, members of Congress, senior Democrat and Republican Congressional staffers, and US State Department staff. The purpose of the meeting was to present a recent Resolution for the establishment of a War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia.

MONROVIA — “I am carrying the bag that has Rape written on it because, as a father of four girls, rape is a serious issue. Men that are raping our girls are insane and need to be treated as such. They should not be among good men like us because good men don’t rape. Therefore, they need to be treated as common criminals and treated harshly in order to send a message to other men who are raping our girls,” says Emmanuel Taplah.
