MONROVIA – The by-election in Chien District, Grand Gedeh County has been halted due to the influx of some citizens with voting ID cards that do not belong to voting precincts in that electoral district.
FrontPageAfrica gathered that hundreds of voters were trucked from other parts of the county to Chien District. It remains unclear which candidate is responsible for the trucking.
According to reports, the by-election was also halted at the Faith International School Precinct Center with code 15074 in the county.
