BONG — The Liberia Agriculture Commodity Regulatory Authority (LACCRA) recently held a three-day retreat in Zoewinta, Bong County, aimed at improving internal cohesion and enhancing its role in Liberia’s agricultural sector.

The retreat, led by Director General Christopher D. Sankolo, brought together key personnel to reflect on past achievements and strategize for future growth.
The event focused on strengthening collaboration within the agency, improving service delivery, and refining operational processes. LACRA’s leadership aims to optimize resources and boost operational efficiency to better serve the agricultural community.
Deputy Agriculture Minister Moses Gbanyan, who delivered the keynote address on behalf of Minister Dr. Alexander Nuetah, encouraged LACRA staff to openly address challenges in areas such as logistics and technology. Gbanyan emphasized the importance of communication and collaboration, reminding staff of their crucial role in supporting Liberia’s farmers.
Director General Sankolo highlighted the need for unity and open communication within LACRA. He stressed that the agency’s strength lies in its people and urged staff to contribute their ideas to foster a culture of excellence.
The retreat concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among LACRA employees, with Sankolo urging them to remain committed to the agency’s mission of strengthening agricultural regulation in Liberia.
