The Business Conference is a two-day event to include:
An evening reception for networking,
A visit to the Philadelphia Seaport by Hon. Sekou Dukuly, Managing Director of the NPA and other officials to advance business relationship between the Seaport of Philadelphia and the National Port Authority of Liberia.
The Minister of Agriculture Hon. Alexander Nuetah will meet with Honorable Heidi Secord, Deputy Secretary, Farm, Food, & Market Access, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to discuss collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and the PA Department of Agriculture. Minister Nuetah will also advance a possible partnership agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Liberia Farmers Cooperative with Liberia Diaspora Leadership Team in the US
Signing of MOU between the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs and the Laborers’ District Council of Philadelphia to implement a Capacity Building Program for citizens of Liberia focusing on key sectors to include construction, agriculture, and vocational training. Liberians will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the training program and return to Liberia at the end of the program to transfer the skills to other Liberians.
The Business Conference will be broadcast on live TV throughout the US and Liberia.
