Monrovia – For years, Gardea Mayon alias Canon D’Bosz, has been filming and producing the music of Gospel artists, but is now venturing in movie production.
“I have talent in the arts,” said Mayon, partner of Marennie J. Mitchell Continental.
“I have a real passion for producing videos and pictures. I have come up with a way to create inspiring video productions with a double purpose: to entertain and generate funding and bringing new taste to video production.”
Canon D’Bosz and his wife Augusta, who have long been known in the production of gospel musical videos, are now trying to make name for themselves, in the movie Ridiculous Memorandum.
Several local actors and actresses, who are expected to style in the movie, were present at Ridiculous Memorandum’s launch, which was held at a local hotel.
The movie is also expected to feature several nationalities, including American and Nigerians.
The movie will unveil the challenges married couple face, including sexual assault and rape.
Canon D’Bosz said the movie is a unique story, which will create awareness and will be attached to most lives.
“Our movie industry has gone through a lot but this industry can bounce back by starting to produce movie of high quality,” he stated.
Also speaking, the founder and CEO of MJM Continental Media Production Inc, Marennie J. Mitchell, said that the originality of the movie is an in-depth of African stories; adding: “The movie will bring and promote the originality of African Arts.”
MJM is a newly established multi-media corporation aimed at bringing exciting innovations and entrepreneurship services to consumers.
She further added that her company seeks partnership and collaboration with movie producers, actors and actresses, script writers as well as other entrepreneurs in leading movie industries including Hollywood and Bollywood.
MJM founder added that the company will work diligently at developing African talents that meet the standards of the movie industry and the demands of the global market.
