Monrovia – After series of consultations in the United States and other parts of Africa, Miss Liberia, Wokie Dolo has departed Liberia for Johannesburg, South Africa to represent Liberia in the Miss Africa Continent Pageant which will be held from August 22 to September 4.
According to a press release issued in Monrovia, the pageant is expected to bring together beauty queens from all over Africa to compete for this prestigious crown.
Miss Dolo who just completed her U S A tour said that, she feels very excited and honored to be representing her country at such an event and hope to bring pride to Liberia.
The Liberian beauty queen since her coronation in late January has been invited by her counterparts in Uganda and Ghana participating in series of charitable events which she successfully accomplished.
She was featured as special guest for the 2017 Runway Liberia event in Baltimore, Maryland, the United States where she served as a motivational speaker at the Empire Beauty School in Manhattan New York, and later climaxed her tour with a tremendous Independence Day celebration in (LAOWC) Worcester County couple with other projects in the United States.
She leaves Liberia with four members of her team to South Africa, and has extended her Sincere thanks and appreciations to the managements of the National Housing Authority, Liberia Telecommunications Authority, including the office of the Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, the Senate Pro-Temp, the Speaker of the House and her many fans and the Liberian people for their continue support through her journey, the released added.
