Monrovia – Eighteen clinics and health centers in Montserrado County, Districts 9 and 10 are expected to benefit a consignment of medical supplies brought into the country by the CEO of a local community-based NGO, Friends Of Fubbi Incorporated, headed by Fubbi Henries and the Gateway Medical Alliance (GMA).

Fubbi Henries in an interview with FrontPageAfrica said his organization, Friends of Fubbi, will sign a memorandum of understanding with health centers which will benefit from the donation to reduce their cost of service to patients by 15% – 25%.
He said named Swamp Community Clinic, Daqmoui Clinic – Lakpazee, the Tropical Clinic in the Raymond Field Community, God’s Grace Medical Center – 12th Street, The Goodwill Investment Clinic in Fiamah, Jordan River Clinic in Lakpazee Zoo, Wroto Town Community Clinic, Central Matadi Dweh Clinic, and Breath of Life Community Clinic Lakpazee as some of the health centers in District #9 that are supposed to benefit from the medical supply.
He said other health centers in both District #9 and #10 to benefit from the supplies include Peace Clinic in the Old Road Community in District #10, Darlington Johnson Medical Center of Old Road, Safe Zone Clinic, Eye Community Clinic, Old Road Community Clinic, Neegangbo Maternity Clinic, 12th Street Community Clinic, PUCC Community Clinic, and S. D. Cooper Clinic – Lakpazee Zoo Road, among others.
Henries said getting in contact with Gateway Medical Alliance was like a dream come true. “I am glad that the Friends Of Fubbi Inc. is here to serve as implementing partner to improve the health sector of our country,” he told FrontPageAfrica.
He said the supplies are general medical supplies used to facilitate the smooth running of clinics and hospitals. Equipment include delivery beds, chairs, walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, stools, etc.
According to him, a new project -“Fubbi-Care” on December 24 in memory of his mother, Halimatu Henries will be dedicated.
He said Fubbi-Care would provide medical insurance for pregnant women by February 2017.

The Executive Director of Gateway Medical Alliance (GMA), Greg Plett told FrontPageAfrica via mobile from the United States over the weekend that his organization was engaged by the CEO of Friends Of Fubbi for the medical supply.
He said the cost of the supply cost over US$10, 0000, noting that GMA is willing at all times to help support the poor around the world with medical supplies.
Greg Plett said he has also sent medical supplies to CDC lawmaker Saah Joseph, saying Fubbi is the second person in Liberia that made such request.
