TOTAL Excellium, a new line of specific fuels that can clean engines and provide lasting protection to ensure they perform better, use less fuel and produce fewer polluting emissions.
At an elaborate ceremony marking the official launch of TOTAL Excellium at the Monrovia City Hall over the weekend, the Managing Director of TOTAL Liberia, Peter Koleade Adegunle noted that the launch of TOTAL Excellium in Liberia is not only about celebrating the company’s latest fuel innovation designed to clean “your engine kilometers after kilometers,” but also a celebration of excellence and a testament of TOTAL’s continuous faith in the country’s radiant future.
“In 2005, TOTAL put down its first roots in Liberia soil and called it home. It has been a privilege this past decade to witness the strides that TOTAL has made in this country.
A handful of service stations became thirty, a small office of ardent employees transformed into a workforce of 75-strong me and women and still growing.”
“It was always our vision to be a vital cog in the gears of the Liberian economy, and a memorable player in Liberia’s success story for generations to come.
Tonight, we humbly submit another passage in that success story; a contribution to Liberia’s chapter on corporate advancement and evolving industry.
As I sated earlier, tonight’s launch of the Excellium range fuels is also a celebration of excellence.
But perhaps, even more importantly, it is a testament to TOTAL’s continued faith in Liberia’s radiant future.”
He furthered that the new generation unleaded petrol and diesel will be available in all of TOTAL’s 30 service stations across the country.
Also speaking, Liberia’s Minister of Commerce, Prof. Wilson Tarpeh hailed TOTAL for promoting excellence and competition in the petroleum industry and called on the company to maintain the same standard that has brought the company this far.
“TOTAL took a seemingly unbroken commodity and strove to make it better through a marriage of diligence and innovation…
TOTAL has exhibited their dedication to national development through service since the company’s introduction into the market in 2005, and I admonish both management and staff to earnestly maintain the same culture of innovation and excellence that has brought them this far,” Prof. Tarpeh advised.
He reaffirmed the Liberian Government’s commitment to creating a favorable condition for local and foreign businesses and urged them to thrive in the confines of the laws.
