MONROVIA – Liberia is taking a significant step forward in its fight against malaria with the official launch of an anti-malaria vaccine for children aged 5 to 18 months. The launch ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Cestos City, Rivercess County. MONROVIA – The USAID-supported Elections and Democracy Activity (EDA), implemented by Democracy International (DI), is deploying a nine-member observation mission for the Senatorial By-Election in Nimba County in Liberia on April 23, 2024. DI will deploy to six of the nine districts and anticipates visiting 12 precincts in Ganta City, Bahn, Beatou, Rlantuo, Saclepea, Sannequellie, Kpein, Tappita, and Wuo Town.
